This year, the first edition, special hardcover RED BOX season 1 will be available for pre-Christmas orders from the 1st of November till the 1st of December for $50 US and will be shipped for free, anywhere in the world. 

That's a $24 US discount. 

Christmas Red Boxes will also be wrapped and ready to put under the tree and all that we ask is that you make very clear in your orders, who the book will be for, helping us avoid lengthy e-mailing confirmation delays.

 I really can't think of anything that would make a better Christmas present for anyone this year. 

These types of Pre-Christmas deals, I strongly believe, can also totally be expected in the future. "

Yup... I'm still alive!! No need to worry... Just, as usual, very very busy with a million things except I'm traveling quite a bit too lately so this here fine Plog has been left unattended, I'm afraid!! Worse ever unattendedness ever... Sorry!!! Truly doing my best!

Truth is I got a lot of tattoos and doodles to post but just no time! So you might have to wait a bit longer till I get back into a more "normal" routine to resume a more regular Plogging schedule!!! Just landed from my last top secret super covert spy mission in China and off tomorrow to the Europes for a month of tat-a-matic mega tattoo action!! I'll do my best to try to keep you up with the quite impressive work I got lined up for me out there this time!!!

In mid February, we're looking at starting to invade the local (Asia) big bookshop market with the last batch of our inventory and well... These guys have a big appetite so I'll try to keep you up to date with our inventory but yeah, this hardcover, fancy first edition should go pretty quickly after March! Next editions are all softcover and most probably never hardcover again... Just saying!!

And I will try to bring a few with me on the road on this next Euro trip but they will be almost exclusively for bookshops so... If you want one, you should definitely order it online!!!

I am absolutely still tattooing in Hong Kong and have added a bunch of extra available tattoo days in the coming month to catch up for the last few months! So if you're one of these interested people... Get in touch with me!!

Also, as soon as I get back to Hong Kong after my next Euro trip (eta: end of February/early March) I plan on raising my hourly prices! Yup! See the thing is there is just not enough consistent work for me here in HK and I just keep getting quicker and quicker and well... It's time to update (been 4 years since I last updated my prices)! So this will only affect all new pieces started after I get back in March! I'm not quite sure what the new hourly price will be just yet (1800 to 2000 HKD/hour) but I will let you know in detail how it all works soon! Just wanted to give everyone a head's up!

Because of the very little interest (read, zero interest) I've received from my next Cape Town tattoo trip, I've decided to cut my loses and drop doing the convention! So yeah... I'm not doing the show!! Too broke to burn dough right now! But I will still be going and will still have a few available spots for tattooing in Cape Town at a guest spot following the show instead! So if anyone out there wants something from me while I'm there... I'll most probably be able to hook them up! If not, then I'll be at the Dubliner on Long street killing 27 rand pints of Castle Milk Stout for a week!!!

Hell yeah!!! The Clandestine Republic distribution network is growing!! Now it might not look like much right now but we're pretty new so... I think it's starting to look good! Our first objective was to, apart from Hong Kong, have at least a few boxes in the US and Europe before Christmas!! We're constantly expanding it too so keep an eye out for new spots that we will do our best to list on the web-site as regularly as possible!!

News update!!!

VIP PRE-ORDERED RED BOXES

Yup... Mhm... Been busy... let's just say that 100 doodles in 100 Red Boxes is a lot of doodles... I know myself by now and I know I tend to overwork and over-doodle many said doodles! So I knew this VIP Red Box mission of mine was going to be no different and instead of fighting it, I just decided to embrace it! However... That means a steady 2 weeks of 24/7 doodling! I'm not complaining about it but am asking people to understand the gigantic workload and to be patient!! I'm pumping out about 10 a day now and for practical reasons have decided to ship them all when they will all be done (early next week). The time we spend packing them is time I can't use to doodle them!

So yeah... VIP RED BOXES are all leaving next week (well ahead of any international "Last run dates" therefore securing everyone's VIP Red Box under the tree!!!)

Every other copies sold on the web-shop are shipped every few days! Expect 7 to 14 working days shipping time!!

So like... A lot of news today!!!!

first of all I'd like to congratulate the thin majority of Americans for reelecting Mister Obama!! 

Doesn't concretely mean much to me personally except of course that the other choice was a pretty damn horrible one! And I do have a lot of American friends out there and I'm happy for them!!! Cuz when the economy's not going well, it seems like common sense to me to spend what little money you have trying to make it better as opposed to buying bombs to drop on other people!!

So what it means for me and the rest of the 7 billion people of the Earth is 80%to 90% less chances of being bombed by America in the next 4 years and well, thank you, we appreciate it!!

In other almost as globally amazing news... 

Today is, indeed, the official season finale of the incredible Red Box epic saga... Now it's obviously not the end of the story... But it is the end of the first season... The end of Red Box Wednesdays for a little while!! I really hope you've enjoyed the ride for these last 50 wednesdays in a row!!! I really hope you liked where this went!!!! And if you did, well then I really hope you're gonna get your very own copy of the first edition of this mega awesome epic saga's first part!!!!

Had a crazy crazy week this last week!!! Barely had time to eat or sleep! But I made the impossible deadline! And the book is getting sorted as we speak!!! This last weekend was probably one of my lamest birthdays ever but being part of this book printing madness (8am till 1am the next day) was probably one of my longest standing dreams coming through!!! So all is good... Hell of a way to spend a birthday but an awesome thing to be part of! And I couldn't cancel and move back the printing... It would have had to be moved a few days, delaying every other step and pushing back the release date by just enough time to stress me the fuck out with Christmas shipping madness! So yeah... It's all good now!
