Just spent what seems like 600 hours of mindless HTMLing for this update!



With no more time to post like I used to, I'm always either thinking of shutting down this old blog or to keep letting it float aimlessly in the World Wide Webs...

Aaaargh! Sorry guys... The hecticness is back in my life!

Haven't had much time lately!!
We're hard at work on Wendy's book project!!! Gonna rock so hard!!! Have a look for yourselves if you're interested in such awesomeness!!! HERE !!!

Also working pretty hard on Turbo Drome (No Way Out - Part 2) these days... That is also gonna kick some serious ass!!!!

Here's some reference work (The deadly T-TENS speed bike sisterhood, intent on bringing down the Go Turbos in Part 2 of the Turbo Drome saga) I did for my buddy Ben Newman who has just started work on the new book's cover B...

Don't miss part 2!! It'll kick so much ass and I truly believe that the work I am doing for this next masterpiece to be my all time best work ever ever!!! True story!!! Few details HERE!!!

   I'm back!! Back from China, back from Europe... Back from bloglessness... And I have a whole lot of those tattooings you've been deprived of for so long and sending me hate mails about... Yup... Well, nice hate mails... Not like "AAAAA I HATE YOU! I'M GONNA KILL YOU NO I'M SORRY JUST GIMME SOME FUCKIN' TATTOOS TO LOOK AT AAAAAAARGH I'LL KILL YOU!!!"  Nope... Nothing like that, rest assured. But I did get the sense of deprivation some of you might have felt after the 20th e-mail asking me when I would be posting again! Specifically tattoo pictures, I'm not that concerned with... But the fact that people are still interested in this corner, my little corner of the interwebnetworks, well... Is very flattering and I can't thank you enough for it!! So... First I'd like to say, Hi! I'm back with lots to show... 

   But today's not the day... Sadly I'm still mourning one of my idols, one of my true hero's tragic passing... I'm really having a hard time with this and am pretty damn bummed out about it! I won't go out in lengths about it... Totally could though, just so you know... But I'll save that huge chunk of text for another time! I'll just post my "Angry Hugo" I doodled last night... Stickin' it to the MAN like no-one else, anywhere else for longer than anyone else...

   So if you happen to be on the opposite side of the ideological spectrum, that's cool, totally, just be respectful and keep it to yourself for the next few days! I'll truly appreciate it! If however you can't and have to voice your opinion, make damn sure you know what the facts are and what you're talking about because I do!

So like... Don't know if you heard but I got this book coming out soon (RB-1) and it's pretty much the awesomest epicest thing I've ever had the pleasure of doing (no joke... Serious face)!

And well it's coming out in mid November and I've spammed most of you for the last week about Pre-ordering a VIP copy (100 copies available) before they run out completely!!!

And finally… Not to be all emo and all… But I never had a chance to take a few seconds to write about all this! Always too busy!! But I guess I just had to say that, this is by far, the awesomest project I've ever done, like ever! 240 pages of artwork and so much time and so much art in this epic project!!! It is definitely my heart and soul right now, that's for sure!!! I hope you liked the web version for the last year and if you did, you will absolutely love this book!!! I've spared nothing in making this project… It's all I can give in one year in one fat awesome brick of a book!!! So yeah… If you like what I do, like the RED BOX comic, like that I post pretty regularly on this here fine Plog… Give this awesomeness a chance!!! I promise you'll love every bit of it!!

Also I don't know if I mentioned this before but in the extra pages of this book there is a section dedicated to other different absolutely awesome artists painting their own interpretations of certain scenes of the story… Seriously, that alone might be worth the book!!!!

RB1 - REDBOX season 1 -

It's official, ladies and gentlemen, I'm quite proud to have the pleasure to announce that the wonderful RED BOX saga will be printed!!!

Of course I had figured this out a while back (hence the 3 last months of almost only Red Box doodlings) but it's now for real real official!!

What started as a silly blog project became kind of my obsession… Ask anyone I've met in the last year and they'll tell you all I can talk about is that damn Red Box! 

It'll get published by these here fine publishers of fine books, CLANDESTINE REPUBLIC LTD. (one of my other jobs) and while we're working out all the technical details of this awesome project of awesomeness, I can already state these few factual facts for you to expect...

You're looking at a serious brick of about 21 cm x 21 cm of between 240 and 250 pages (the first season's actual comic is just under 200 pages and the rest will be extra awesomeness).

full colour (obviously) and this edition will be hardcover only.

most probably limited to about a 1000 copies.

A few amazing artists will be collaborating on some of the extra pages too.

And finally we're looking at pricing it between 400 and 450 HKD*… So some seriously reasonable shit here!!!!

Right now we're looking at possibly having it out just in time for Christmas and some extra awesome pre-order VIP deals for very soon but I'll update you guys as soon as I have some more super awesome RB news in the next few days! Be prepared for some seriously out of this world awesomeness!!!!

Was just a short spontaneous visit , however I seemed to have missed a few hangout opportunities ... I'll be back , fo sho !

I have , as it turns out , spent just about a month here in this hostile , unpredictable , "natural" environment ! And I have studied it very carefully ! Paying attention to every detail unfolding before me and learning about these mysterious "natural" ways ! And I have understood ! True story !! I now understand how it all works ! You guessed it ... A new addition to my current submarine thing ! This one , however , I've dissected for your understanding pleasure ! I just really love making these silly "fake-technical" drawings of anything , really ! And I don't really know if it was just my books when I was a kid or if everyone had them but there used to be these books with technical illustrations about how things work and stuff ! They would show the insides of things , how it all worked and looked inside ! And all of them had this consensus , it seems , to have the edges of the parts that were cut through , painted red ! Is it just me ?? Do you remember these ?? Do they still make them ?? Anywho ... Here's my version of a super technical , full of factual facts , inside look on the very real insides of the HMS VALIANT (S33) ! Wonder why they actually didn't give one that name ?? Vanguard , Victorious , Vigilant , Vengeance ?? I wouldn't personally want to be serving in a nuclear ballistic missile submarine called "Vengeance" ... Kinda grim ! Ok ok ok --- Enough geekness !

Just the day's doodle ! Nothing worth writing home about ! However , this is an English ship so ... The sailor up in front is drinking tee , indeed ! Incase you was wondering !!
