Been doodling away the last few days for no reason other than doodling cool doodles and it totally rocks!! However my workload has cought up with me and after this last one I'm working on today, Doodle Week will sadly have to come to and end...

Curse of the Swamp Woman!!

So yeah... I was supposed to go up to Beijing for a few days to hurt the locals but a few hours before my flight, I heard back that everyone up there had canceled (Choked, Flacked out)! So... Fuck it! I decided to stay home and cut my loses! But finding myself with a whole week completely open for interpretation... Turbo Drome being finished... I declared this week: DOODLE WEEK!!! To be able to just doodle for no particular purpose for a whole week is pretty much a dream come through!! SO here it is... I'll be doodling away the week (From last Wednesday to next) and will try to finish one A4 a day!

Curse of the Swamp Woman is the first one! Finished her last night and I think I love her!!!!!

So... Needless to say, since I need to cover my loses from this Beijing fiasco... Everything I come up with this week is up for grabs and I'll be giving slightly better deals on originals and prints until next Wednesday!!!

I am absolutely still tattooing in Hong Kong and have added a bunch of extra available tattoo days in the coming month to catch up for the last few months! So if you're one of these interested people... Get in touch with me!!

Also, as soon as I get back to Hong Kong after my next Euro trip (eta: end of February/early March) I plan on raising my hourly prices! Yup! See the thing is there is just not enough consistent work for me here in HK and I just keep getting quicker and quicker and well... It's time to update (been 4 years since I last updated my prices)! So this will only affect all new pieces started after I get back in March! I'm not quite sure what the new hourly price will be just yet (1800 to 2000 HKD/hour) but I will let you know in detail how it all works soon! Just wanted to give everyone a head's up!

My prices in other countries shouldn't be affected!

Because of the very little interest (read, zero interest) I've received from my next Cape Town tattoo trip, I've decided to cut my loses and drop doing the convention! So yeah... I'm not doing the show!! Too broke to burn dough right now! But I will still be going and will still have a few available spots for tattooing in Cape Town at a guest spot following the show instead! So if anyone out there wants something from me while I'm there... I'll most probably be able to hook them up! If not, then I'll be at the Dubliner on Long street killing 27 rand pints of Castle Milk Stout for a week!!!

Hell yeah!!! The Clandestine Republic distribution network is growing!! Now it might not look like much right now but we're pretty new so... I think it's starting to look good! Our first objective was to, apart from Hong Kong, have at least a few boxes in the US and Europe before Christmas!! We're constantly expanding it too so keep an eye out for new spots that we will do our best to list on the web-site as regularly as possible!!

What a day… 

So here's the news of the day… I finally managed to re-open the EPTB!! It took me all day but starting from… Now! It's open!

EPTB

 So I changed a lot of things around… Made it my doodle spot! From originals to a new personal print revolution… So if you like my doodles, that's the place to go! Not yet finished but most of the important stuff is up and running!!!

PRINTS

 I really don't understand, looking back, how it took me so long to do this but better late then never, right? After a few years of searching for a local Gicleé printer… I can happily say I found one last week! I tested them and the result is absolutely mind blowing!! I've honestly never seen this good of a quality anywhere else (Gicleé or not)! Some of the tests I got them to print came out almost better than the originals at sometimes twice the size as the originals! So... Yeah!!! Pretty epic! So this is now my new addiction and if you want to participate, go check the PRINT section on the EPTB!! 

It is, of course, more expensive than an offset run or a high-res digital but way cheaper than an original and the quality… Oh the quality… Unbelievable!

So yeah… I got prints again! I started with 9 and will add more as the months go by!

Now I'm exhausted so if you don't mind I'm outta here!

NOODLES IN SPACE - series of 6!

It's true… There are noodles in space!! Just trust me on that one… Yep!

So here's a new batch of brand spanking' new intergalactic noodles in space pieces I just finished last night! Here's the deal, you can look at them here… But you can also buy them!!!! That's absolutely right! You can buy them and own that shit!!!

Not exactly like back in 2010 but in a similar frame of mind, I decided to do a new batch of quick pieces for as cheap as I could! I don't know if you remember but in 2010 I did a batch called A DAY IN MONG KOK? Black & white, x4… Anyways… This noodles in space thing was supposed to be the same kind of idea except in colour! The only thing is that I completely overworked them and they look way better than I initially expected! So here's how I'll be doing it this year!

From today… What are we today? 27th of March yes! (yes I'm writing this as I'm thinking about it)… So yeah, For one week so 27 + 7 = 34… Until the 34th of March (also known as the 3rd of April)… These 6 sweet noodle munching space beauties will be up for grabs for 1G of the HK kind ($1000 HKD roughly gets you 100€/ 130US/ 120AU/ 80UK)…
On the 3rd of April at this very time (17:00 HK time/ GMT +8) they will be back up at their much more realer more normalest price of 2 G… Of the HK kind!


So yeah… If any of these hotties tickle your fancy, get one!

Golden parachute news...

It's been rough let me tell ya…




Yep yep! Really feeling the pinch nowadays! Let's just say it's been pretty rough indeed! Super bummed I had to cancel my NAmerican trip and then Christmas altogether and then a week in London too… Hopefully all these extra, non expected administration costs that have crippled me so have all not been in vain… One can only hope!!

Copenhagen dates remain unchanged and the Earth would have to crack in two or the dead would have to rise again for me not to make it over (and even still! Cuz like I have a perfect step by step plan of exactly what to do in such unfortunate circumstances! And so should you!!) So if you're one of these Euro-booked, don't sweat it! I've even added an extra week with extra room for extra bookings (Till the 6th now).

Apart from these financial hardships and other bummers, having to cancel all these awesome plans abroad means I'll be home in Hong Kong for a bit longer!! And since this was not previously planned… I find my self with a big fat (phat) empty month!! Hint hint! Anybody want anything in December?? Let me know soon cuz I'd love to start some new stuff for a change and all the continuation work might fill up this calendar quicker than slower!

I'm kinda stuck between two currents here! I'd say I have about half the EPTB's mailbox filled with E-mails about how some cheaper stuff would be much appreciated and the other half with mails asking me when the BIG stuff is coming!! So yeah! I decided to start with a few "sketches" (however much not that "sketch-like") and would like to reassure the other crowd that some really intense "bigger" stuff is being worked on everyday!!!

So ... Much new original work to expect soon!!!
